Jen Holaday
Principal
Jen founded Brave Maggie Designs after more than 20 years in the custom window treatment industry. She began as a hands-on fabricator, personally sewing and constructing the draperies, Roman shades, bedding, and other soft furnishings for every project.
That foundation gives Jen an unusually deep understanding of how a window treatment should be designed, engineered, and installed—not just how it should look. Today, she leads the creative vision of Brave Maggie, working closely with homeowners and interior designers to develop treatments that are distinctive, beautifully made, and thoughtfully suited to each space.
A Certified Window Treatment Specialist, Jen has received multiple first-place honors in the IWCE-VISION Design & Workroom Competition and was named a 2026 Window Coverings 300 Honoree.
Kate Mueller
Window Treatment Designer
Kate brings an artist’s eye and a strong design perspective to every Brave Maggie project. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Temple University, where she concentrated in jewelry and CAD design, and has spent the past seven years working in high-end residential interior design along the East Coast and the South.
That experience gave her a deep understanding of custom window treatments, fine fabrics and trims—and of how much the right details can change a room. Kate has a natural ability to guide clients through the design process, helping them make confident decisions while keeping the experience fun, inspiring and personal. She’s a careful listener and clear communicator with a meticulous eye for detail, keeping projects organized from the first site visit to final installation.
Lauren Clark
Project Manager
There are a lot of moving pieces behind every Brave Maggie project, and Lauren is the one who keeps them all together and moving forward. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Mathematics Education from Kennesaw State University, where she graduated summa cum laude. Before joining our team, she managed home organization projects for the nationally recognized company The Home Edit, where she oversaw projects from the first consultation through the final walkthrough. She later ran her own home organization business.
Calm under pressure, Lauren keeps track of the details without losing sight of the bigger picture. At Brave Maggie, she manages each project behind the scenes, tracking orders and timelines and coordinating everything needed for installation day. Her organization experience has made its way into every part of Brave Maggie—even our storage closets are now beautifully organized and color-coded.
Margaret White
Our Namesake & Original Maker
Margaret “Maggie” was Jen’s grandmother and the inspiration behind the Brave Maggie name. Jen grew up watching Maggie and her mother sew curtains, bedding, slipcovers and pillows for their family home. Later, when Jen bought her first house, Maggie spent weekends helping her do the same —patiently sharing her expertise, her candy, and a joke or two as they worked.
Her example is what guides Brave Maggie today: make things well, share what you know generously and create homes that feel personal to the people who live there.
